Harold Stephens Shortlisted for Two Prestigious Professional Adviser Awards

We are thrilled to share some exciting news: Harold Stephens has been shortlisted for not one but two categories at the Professional Adviser Awards 2025! We’re finalists for Best Adviser Firm for Vulnerable Client Care and Adviser Firm of the Year – South West & Wales.

This recognition means the world to us. It reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional financial advice to retirees and vulnerable clients in our community. These nominations are a testament to the hard work of our small but dedicated team, as well as the trust and support of our wonderful clients.

Supporting vulnerable clients

Helping vulnerable clients has always been at the heart of what we do. From rigorous due diligence in our vulnerability processes to appointing a signposting champion, we strive to offer meaningful support for those facing challenging circumstances.

Being shortlisted for Best Adviser Firm for Vulnerable Client Care highlights the importance of this work. It’s an honour to be recognised for making a difference in the lives of those who need it most and we’re pleased to see our small firm shortlisted among national organisations!

A Proud Moment for the South West and Wales

To be named a finalist in the Adviser Firm of the Year – South West and Wales category is equally exciting. We’re proud to be based in Bristol, working alongside retirees and families across the region and it’s terrific to see so many great firms listed from our area. Our recent initiatives, such as the Harold Stephens Community Fund and involvement in the Later Life Alliance (and Later Life Hub), are just a few examples of how we aim to support not only our clients but also the wider community.

Why it matters

The Professional Adviser Awards are a benchmark of excellence in financial advice. Being shortlisted in two categories is not just an achievement for us as a firm; it’s a recognition of the impact that compassionate, thoughtful, and personalised advice can have on people’s lives.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London early next year. While we’re crossing our fingers, we already feel like winners to have reached this stage. Thank you to everyone - our clients, team, and community - who has supported us along the way.
