Youth service is a large part of Clifton Rotary Club which provides educational development for school children through competitions and support for local disabled and disadvantaged children through social activity.

Of the many competitions (Youth Speaks, Young Musicians and Young Chef to name a few), the Young Photographer competition has proven to be enormously popular with 84 entries last year alone!

We’re lucky to welcome Jonathan Bolgar MA who will be talking us through what makes a ‘good’ photograph from composition to colour balance, rule of thirds to aperture.

Join us as he demonstrates through the fantastic entries submitted to the Clifton Rotary Young Photographer competition how you can plan and take better photographs whilst marveling at the brilliant talent our city’s young photographers have to offer!
